Brief Description of GWU/Mt. Vernon Project:

 

The renovation of the Mt. Vernon dormitories was scheduled to be completed during the short summer break. All work had to be completed in time to receive new room furnishings as well as early arriving students.

 

Columbia all of the university’s requirements on time for all scheduled subsequent activities to start on time -- completed on time, within budget with no change orders. In order to augment our commitment to quality, Columbia went the extra mile and provided unsolicited interior wall preparation and treatment to insure a smooth high-end finish to the interior walls throughout the dorm.

 

As a result of Columbia’s excellent performance, our work efforts were recognized by the awarding of additional contracts prior to the completion of the first and able to complete all contracts prior to the start of the new school year.
